A customer may want to start using Salt-Away by purchasing a U.S. GALLON (3.79 L) of Refill Concentrate and a Mixing Unit, Part Number: SAM. (SAMI for International customers.)
Mixing Units can be ordered independently of the Kits. Ask your favorite store to inquire about this option.

PRODUCT FAQ'S
Salt-away is a motor flush for inboard, outboard, i/o and personal watercraft motors and an exterior salt removing treatment. Salt-away is water based, non-hazardous, biodegradable, and contains properties that attack and remove salt from any surface.
The Materiels Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) on Salt Away lists the active ingredient as sulfamic acid... it is definitely a lot stronger than tap water when it comes to cleaning metal.
It is not necessary to flush your engine with fresh water before flushing it with Salt-Away. Fresh water does not add to the quality of the flush, but it does add time. Avoid rinsing your engine with fresh water after the Salt-Away application.

Externally it makes cleanly so much easier. Internally it helps remove the salt reducing maintenance, replacement of parts and providing confidence that you are cleaning things right. You may read mixed reviews on this product, but if used consistently, it definitely does the job it's meant to.

Salt-Away Mixing Unit & Salt-Away Flush Kit
The mixing unit makes flushing the engine so simple. I just fill the unit up with 2 oz of Salt-Away and then attach it to my motors flushing adapter and turn the water on. I then let it run for about 15 minutes and I am done.
